La Lakers Over Under Wins
On Sunday night, it was two old rivals clashing once again – the LeBron James-led Los Angeles Lakers and Stephen Curry-ledGolden State Warriors.

The two have played each other in the past, but it was mostly in the NBA Finals. This time it was not close but lopsided in the Lakers’ favor. Both teams were without one of their All-Stars. The Lakers lost Anthony Davisto a calf injury and will be unavailable until after the All-Star break. The Warriors are missing Klay Thompson, who suffered a season-ending injury before the season started.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be taking a look at the over/under for wins in the eight “seeding games” in Orlando for all 22 participating teams before the NBA playoffs begin. We tip off today with a look at the Western Conference leading Los Angeles Lakers.
Due to the injuries of one of their individual star players, Los Angeles relied on James to lead the team, and Golden State looked to Curry to guide the team. In this battle, it was James, who came out on top of this match.

James led with a team-high 19 points, six rebounds and four assists in 24 minutes of playing. In addition, the All-Star forward received help from Markieff Morris, Dennis Schroder, Alex Caruso, Kyle Kuzma and Talen Horton-Tucker who added double-digit scoring to help power the Lakers to a 117-97 win.
The Warriors lost Draymond Green after he rolled his ankle during the first half and was sent to the locker room. Green never returned to the game after leaving. Eric Paschall led the scoring with a team-high of 18 points. Curry only had 16 points, seven assists, and five rebounds.
Los Angeles secured the win as the team improved to 24-11 and Golden State went to 19-16.
